Sustainable Development Policy

We have always been very aware that as a marine aquatic product processing company, our growth and consolidation is base on the internationalization of our business model, which is characterized by full respect for human rights, sustainable development of resources, environmental responsibility, continuous support for renewable energy, and social and economic development of towns and countries. So we follow a series of rules to comply with our sustainability policies:

We actively cooperate with scientific teams from regional fishery organizations and regularly provide them with information about our tuna purchases. All ships provided to us are registered in the RFO's authorized list and marked in the member states/cooperative countries.

100% of our tuna comes from ships registered in the PVR (Active Ship Register), with an IMO number (number issued by the International Maritime Organization), and independent observers. In addition, these tuna captains receive continuous training in sustainable fishing practices.

We do not buy or sell tuna from illegal, unreported, or unregulated fishing activities (illegal, unreported, or unregulated fishing activities). We combat this type of activity. In addition to what is banned , we also condemn and condemn the use of drift nets, and we will not purchase tuna caught by this process under any concept. We prohibit shark fins, therefore, we do not do business with companies or ships that deal with shark fins and/or that do not have policies for prohibiting shark fins.

Like the whole scientific community, we believe that in order to keep the tuna population at a healthy level, fishing capacity should not be increased; therefore, we fully support the resolution of the International Security Forum in this regard.

Social commitment

For Retronx, sustainability is not only a word, but also the foundation of our development. Through years of exploration combined with the concept of scientific development, we will surely carry out sustainable development to the end , because we know a healthy virtuous circle is very important to us, which is not only taken as a belief of enterprise, but also a belief of a nation. That’s why we are committed to protecting the world's tuna population and adhere to policies , which ensures the prosperity of the global marine biological ecosystem.

Therefore , we make the following commitment :

All the tuna that we supply is purchased in accordance with our strict procurement specifications and sustainability principles. Most of the tuna we buy is due to its rapid growth and high fertility, which is widely regarded as abundant and has sustainable stock levels.

We do not engage in the trade of tuna caught by hunting vessels, nor engage in the trade by transshipping vessels on the list of vessels dealing with illegal, unregulated and unreported hunting activities organized by any regional fisheries management that has been found to be engaged in illegal,

unreported and unregulated in any hunting activities . Our traceability program ensures that we maintain this commitment .

Our tuna suppliers are monitored through the International Dolphin Safety Monitoring Program of Earth Island Institute (EII) , which ensures that we can carry the "Dolphin Safety" logo on cans of tuna, because no dolphins were intentionally deployed or surrounded by nets, and no dolphins were killed or seriously injured in the tuna nets.

Traceable product

All the sources and sales of our products can be traced back to the original fishing vessels and related fishing information can be provided to customers in details .
